Orcas Island Children's House is a licensed early learning center serving Orcas Island families for more than 40 years. Children's House helps to preserve the sustainability of our unique island by providing families an education-oriented environment for their toddler- and preschool-aged children.

Children's House is:

  • An early learning center where each child has an individualized education plan;
  • The most established preschool on the island;
  • Licensed to care for children ages 1 (walking) through 6 years;
  • Open 8:30 AM to 3 PM;
  • Daily serving breakfast and afternoon snack prepared in our kitchens.

Children's House serves:

  • Families who want both socialization and early education experience for their children;
  • Single parents who need contact with other singles and families;
  • Families of all income ranges, family structures and with unique needs;
  • The Orcas Island community.
