Dear Preschool Parents,

Last week was a short week at preschool that was full of a lot of fun. The children listened to some wonderful stories about harvest and Thanksgiving. They also enjoyed decorating ginger bread cookies…quite a delicious activity. On Tuesday we had our Favorite Food Feast. Thank you to all of you who brought in your child’s favorite food. It was wonderful to have so many parents join us as well. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday enjoying good food, family and friends.

Next week at preschool we will be getting back into the swing of things and beginning to focus on winter as it quickly approaches. The children will get to do ice painting, which is always a favorite art project. We will also experiment with shaving cream this week-it’s good to get a little messy and creative!! Teacher Khadoma will be singing with the children on Wednesday as usual. If you ever can come and join us for singing please do-it is such a wonderful, joyful experience.

Children’s House is open during the holiday break that the public school takes in December. We are trying to get an accurate count of how many children will be joining us during this time. Please let us know of your plans. Thanks so much.

Jenny,Tess,Khadoma,and Amy!

Quote of the Week: Kashi was watching a mom leave preschool with her two children and said, “That is a lot of kids for one mama to have!”
