Dear Preschool Parents, Last week we had a wonderful time at preschool with many fun activities and a lot of playing. The children enjoyed ice painting, decorating snowflakes, and making ornaments. We also had a messy, fun time making Gak with the children. This ooey-gooey substance is very interesting to work with. The children cut it with scissors and get it dripping all over their hands. It is an amazing sensory experience. Nita from the library visited us this week as well with many wonderful stories. Thank you all who came to our holiday party. It was a great chance to connect with families and celebrate the season!
Next week at preschool we will be working on a special project...details later! The children will also get to decorate snowmen, and continue making snowflakes. We are going to be baking popovers this week as well-a fun muffin type treat that leaves a hole for jam! Singing will be on Wednesday as usual with Khadoma. The children have been singing some old favorites, as well as new songs about the season. It should be a great week.
Jenny, Tess, Khadoma, Amy, and Bari!
Quote of the Week: After drawing lines in the frost on the swings, Carly said, "Look, I made chinese on the swing!"
