Dear Preschool Parents,
Last week at preschool was a lot of fun. We talked about plants and gardening, as well as Saint Patrick’s Day. The children made shamrock window stickers, decorated construction paper shamrocks, and even made shamrock cookies. On Tuesday we had a great time visiting the Funhouse. The children really enjoy our adventures there. We also had a sticky icky time playing with gak this week. If you are interested in the recipe please ask! The children enjoyed lots of time outside playing and looking for bugs as well. It was a great week.
Next week at preschool we are focusing on the beginning of spring. We are in need of half gallon milk cartons, or even gallon milk jugs. Please bring some in if you have some! We will be planting grass seed in these containers that will eventually become baskets for eggs as we approach Easter. The children will get to do some beading this week, as well as play with corn starch and water colors. We will be making bread rolls, going on a nature walk, and continuing to do some gardening this week as well. Hopefully the weather will feel like spring and we should have a great week!
Jenny, Tess, Amy, Khadoma, and Cara.
