Dear Preschool Parents,
Last week we had a great time exploring our theme of Frogs. We sang some frog songs, read a lot of frog stories, and hopped around like frogs as well! The children also got to do foot painting this week with Teacher Amy. This is always a fun experience-the children enjoy getting their feet messy and walking on a long piece of paper. This week was also Parent/Teacher conferences. Thank you all who made the time to meet with us. We really appreciate learning more about your children from you, and appreciate all your ideas and questions. If you didn’t have time for a conference last week, please check in with Jenny or Tess and we can set up a time to meet.
Next week at preschool we will continue with the frog theme and learn about ponds as well. The children will also be working on a secret project this week-details later! Just a reminder to our parents of children heading off to Kindergarten next year-the Kindergarten banquet is May 13th and the bus ride to the public school Kindergarten is May 18th. If you are a parent of a soon to be Kindergartner, please let us know if you do not want your child to ride the bus on the18th.
Our End of the Year ceremony is just around the corner. Mark your calendars for Thursday May 27th for this wonderful event. This is a very special ceremony for the children and parents!
Jenny, Tess, Amy, Khadoma, Cara, and Becky!
Quote of the Week: While talking about a spider in the yard, Megan said, “He doesn’t want to hurt any people, he just wants someone to cuddle with!”
