Dear Preschool Parents,
Last week at preschool we enjoyed learning more about frogs and ponds. The children heard more stories about frogs, and sang some fun songs about them too. The children also worked on a secret Mother’s Day project as well last week. The decorated little hearts with their pictures on them for their moms, and even made the wrapping paper for them. We also enjoyed plenty of time outside and in the garden. It was a wonderful week.
Next week at preschool we will be talking about airplanes. The children love watching the planes fly over Children’s House every day, and it just seemed fitting to learn about airplanes with them. We hope to spend a lot time outside this week playing and flying paper airplanes. The children will also get to make herb bread rolls this week. They really enjoy picking herbs from the garden and adding them to our rolls. There is something very magical about growing what you eat, and children seem to understand this more than anyone! It should be a great week.
Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful moms! We certainly appreciate and acknowledge all that you do. Thank you.
Jenny, Tess, Amy, Khadoma, Cara, and Becky!
