Dear Preschool Parents,
This past week was very exciting and full. We learned a lot about caterpillars and butterflies. The children made egg carton caterpillars as well as construction paper caterpillars. Teacher Amy made some wonderful lime green play dough with the children, and she also cut out some great butterflies to make butterfly prints with. Tuesday was a very special day for our children who are heading off to Kindergarten. They rode the big yellow school bus up to the public school with Teacher Jenny for a tour of the school and Kindergarten classroom, and ended with lunch at the cafeteria. It was a big success. All the children also planted a special plant this week…details later!

Next week at preschool is a very special week. We will focus on flowers and gardening, but the big event of the week is our End of the Year Ceremony on Thursday the 27th at 11am. This is a very important and special event for the children and we would love everyone to attend. We will enjoy a potluck lunch after the ceremony. In the classroom this week the children will make tissue paper flowers, create crowns for our ceremony, and spend a lot of time outside! It should be a very special week!
