Dear Preschool Parents, Last week at preschool was very special as we enjoyed getting ready for our End of the Year Celebration. The children made beautiful crowns and practiced their songs with Teacher Khadoma for the big event. On Thursday we were lucky enough to have a break in a very rainy week, and we ended up having a wonderful ceremony and potluck. The children sang songs for us, received a certificate and portfolio, and then we all ate some fabulous food! Thanks to everyone who came! We really appreciate all you wonderful parents and everything you do for your children and our school!
Next week at preschool we will still be talking about gardening and flowers, and we will also learn about the sun. (Maybe it will even come out this week) The children will sing a new song about the sun, read some great stories, and create a big, beautiful sun for our bulletin board. We will be talking about the longer days and the eminent arrival of summer! The children will also do some great art projects this week, including experimenting with corn starch and water colors. It should be a great week!
THERE IS NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY! Children’s House will be closed as we observe Memorial Day! See you Tuesday!!
Jenny, Tess, Amy, Khadoma, Becky, and Cara!
