Dear Preschool Parents,

Last week at preschool was all about frogs! The children enjoyed having some real frogs in the classroom (thanks to my daughter Willow) and even figured out how many were in the aquarium-which took a few attempts with all the hopping! We read some fun frog stories at circle time and sang “Five Little Speckled Frogs.” We got our big muscles working as Teacher Jenny led a game of leap frog at circle time too! The children also enjoyed doing stamping, collage work, and playing outside. It was an enjoyable week.

Next week will be all about moms and grandmas at preschool. There will be a secret project happening all week long...more information later! We are also going to be painting with watercolors this week, making new playdough, and baking bread. There are a couple important dates to note:

May 10th to May 17th: Teacher Jenny is out of the classroom on vacation!
May 23rd: Kindergarten Bus Ride-be on time to preschool today!
   May 30th: Kindergarten family dinner
May 31st: End of the Year Ceremony 11am at Children’s House. Potluck!

Any questions? Please ask!

         Jenny, Tess, and Emilie!

Quote of the Week: I asked Calder what he was doing. Calder said, “I am meditating because I am Obi-Wan.” Jimmy said, “I’m not because I am Obi-700.”
