The Farmhouse Preschool is located in a turn-of-the century building, providing a unique and homey learning environment for the students.
Here, we encourage children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to experiment, make mistakes and persevere. Our goal is to create independent, self-confident and inquisitive learners prepared for kindergarten and life. A preschooler’s typical daily experience will involve both indoor and outdoor activities that include:
Creative Arts (music, movement, dramatic play, story-enactments and process-oriented art).
Open-ended conversations and lines of inquiry that extend vocabulary, build relationships and foster positive approaches to learning.
Sensory experiences and engaging materials that invite exploration and immersion.
Language and literacy enriched environments.
Observation, connection and study of Nature.
Social-emotional support through respect, caring and meaningful interactions.
Positive guidance that encourages collaborative problem solving practices.
Our Preschool is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. The tuition schedule has been designed to provide the best balance between our resources and the income range of our parents. Please ask us about tuition assistance and current rates.
